Welcome to Birr GAA Club.
Established in 1909 Birr GAA Club operates out of its iconic home ground St. Brendan’s Park situated on Railway Road near the centre of the town. The town of Birr hosted the first All Ireland Senior Final in 1888 and St. Brendan’s Park has hosted u21 All Ireland finals and semi-finals and continues to host Offaly County Finals at all levels.
The Club promotes Gaelic Games and participates in Hurling, Football and Scór competitions at adult and juvenile level. Considerable success has been achieved with four All Ireland Senior Club Hurling titles from 6 All Ireland Club Final appearances.
In the Minor Section Birr GAA Club has also won 18 Offaly Minor A Titles and our Figure Dancers are, in recent years, regular ALL Ireland Scór Finalists.
New members, playing and non-playing, are always welcome in our Club and please do not hesitate to contact any club or Executive member for further information.
